The Artist leads our nomination with 9 nods followed by The Help and Happy Feet Two with 6 nods each. Drive and The Tree of Life don’t follow far behind with 5 nominations each. Moneyball, Rango and Warrior all come in at 4 nods.
Did you know? Jessica Chastain made a huge splash this year and is in the running for Best Supporting Actress and Best Leading Actress. Brad Pitt is also twice nominated, once for his portrayal of “Will the Krill” in Happy Feet Two and for his portrayal of Oakland A’s manager “Billy Beane” in Moneyball. Finally, cross-over star Pink a.k.a. Alecia Moore is nominated on our list twice – once for her vocals for Best Original Song “The Bridge of Light” from Happy Feet Two and for her voice-over acting as “Gloria” from the same movie.
